The location, right by the river, provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere. I loved spending time on the balcony, watching ducks and enjoying the calming water views. the lodge itself was cozy and well-equipped, with a kitchen perfect for preparing meals. the fact that the apartment had 3 bedrooms was a plus, as we were traveling with friends and everyone had their own space. the terrace was a lovely spot to unwind after a day of hiking and fishing in the surrounding area. the flat-screen TV and comfy seating area made for relaxing evenings spent indoors. The nearby activities, such as hiking and fishing, were a highlight of our trip. Being able to explore CairnGorm National Park, just 22 km away, was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend Riverside Lodge Retreat to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable place to stay near Aviemore. the attention to detail and stunning views truly made our trip memorable. I can't wait to return and enjoy more time in this beautiful area.
